Some of these

B.M.E. Stress Management for Horses addresses your
animal's physical and emotional stress to create an effective
treatment plan that will help you manage their stress.
Stress relief is
achieved through the use of situational stress assessments,
environmental recommendations,
Therapeutic Touch treatments, and owner/trainer after-care.
Referrals may be made to other practitioners i.e. massage
therapist, chiropractor, acupuncturist, veterinarian or
hydrotherapy clinic.
B.M.E. Stress Management Assessments©
and treatment plans are done on location. They involve
collecting and analyzing information about physical conditions,
environmental factors and emotional influences that may be
contributing to the animal's current symptoms, illness or
behaviours.
Follow-up appointments are scheduled to monitor and re-assess
the continued effectiveness of the plans and progress of the
horse.
After-care may
involve environment changes, physical activity, schedule changes
and behavioural supports.

Client Referrals
"I came to Martha because my race
horse was becoming aggressive and sometimes very despondent.
His symptoms were sore points along his withers and leg splints.
Martha was able to come on very short notice to assess and treat
my horse in his stall. Follow-up sessions helped to fully
settle my horse and he is continuing to do well. Thanks, Martha
for your stress management skills." R. W.

hospitals and hospices to help alleviate the on-set of stress
and pain associated with many standard treatments and
procedures. It is used at Columbia

operative stress, thereby significantly improving recovery time.
